Last Updated: August 20, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules governing the use of QDrop’s software-as-a-service application, websites, messaging tools, APIs, and associated infrastructure (collectively, the "Service"). This AUP applies to all customers, school administrators, teachers, staff members, parents, and authorized end-users (collectively, "Users") who access or interact with the Service.

Users must exercise reasonable judgment and use the Service strictly for authorized educational, administrative, and school-communication purposes.
2. PROHIBITED PLATFORM USE & SYSTEM INTEGRITY
Users shall not, and shall not permit or assist any third party to:
- Infrastructure Interference: Circumvent, disable, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any security control, authentication mechanism, or network security measure enforcing access to the Service.
- Reverse Engineering: Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the underlying source code, algorithms, or operational structure of the Service.
- Automated Scraping & Overburdening: Use web scrapers, bots, spiders, or automated data-extraction tools to extract data from the Service, or intentionally transmit data designed to overload, flood, or trigger denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against QDrop infrastructure.
- Malicious Software: Upload, introduce, or transmit viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, logic bombs, or any other destructive or technologically harmful material.
3. CONTENT & MESSAGING RESTRICTIONS
When posting messages, uploading documents, utilizing AI prompt workflows, or communicating through the platform, Users agree not to generate, submit, or transmit Content that:
- Unlawful or Fraudulent: Violates local, state, provincial, national, or international laws, including consumer protection statutes, privacy regulations, or local criminal codes.
- Infringing Intellectual Property: Infringes upon any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any individual or entity.

- Spam & Anti-Spam Violations: Transmits unsolicited commercial communications, bulk promotional announcements, chain letters, or phishing messages in violation of applicable anti-spam legislation, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and the US CAN-SPAM Act.
- Prohibited Sensitive Data: Uploads unencrypted payment card details (PCI-DSS restricted data), unapproved personal health records, or unauthorized personal identification numbers outside designated secure fields.
4. CREDENTIAL SECURITY & IDENTITY MISREPRESENTATION
- Account Credential Safeguards: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their administrative login credentials and passwords. Credential sharing, providing unauthorized account access to third parties, or failing to lock unattended sessions is strictly prohibited.
- Impersonation: Users shall not misrepresent their identity, state affiliation with an educational institution without authority, or impersonate any person, school official, parent, or entity.
5. SPECIAL RULES FOR AI FEATURES
Where Users interact with QDrop’s AI-powered assistants or automated messaging capabilities:
- Prompt Safety: Users shall not intentionally submit malicious prompts ("jailbreaking") designed to bypass AI safety filters, generate harmful content, or cause the AI engine to divulge system instructions or private customer data.
- No Reliance on Professional Advice: AI-generated outputs are intended to assist communication and administrative organization. They do not constitute legal, medical, or emergency advice.
6. MONITORING & ENFORCEMENT
- Right to Audit & Monitor: QDrop reserves the right (but assumes no obligation) to monitor network traffic, system performance, access logs, and communications passing through the platform to ensure security integrity, prevent fraud, and enforce compliance with this Policy.
