Data Usage Consent – Beta Trial
For Schools
Consent for School Source Documents and System Performance Data (QDrop Beta Trial)
Your school’s documents are the foundation of QDrop’s knowledge, and your participation is invaluable in helping us ensure the system is reliable, accurate, and safe. To confirm the system is performing correctly and generating accurate answers from your data, we ask for your voluntary consent to permit the QDrop development team to review your submitted documents and related system performance data during this limited beta program.
1. Who is Processing Your Data? (Data Controller)
- Data Controller: Rocketchicken Interactive Inc. (makers of QDrop)
- Contact Details: Ryan Chapman (ryan@qdrop.com)
- DPO: Nolan Koriath (Acting) (nolan@qdrop.com)
2. Scope and Purpose of Processing
- Data Collection: This agreement applies exclusively to the data and documents you upload or integrate into QDrop, including policies, calendars, and newsletters.
- Purpose of Analysis: The purpose of this data review is solely for diagnostic and analysis purposes. This activity is necessary to ensure the quality and accuracy of the AI system, including:
- Identifying “edge case” data
- Improving core system accuracy
- Assessing the “I Don’t Know” (IDK) rate
- Measuring user experience
- Risk Acknowledgement: We recognize that your school documents may contain Personal Data (PII) of staff or students. Only the QDrop development team will review this data for diagnostic purposes.
3. Data Retention and Your Rights
- Term of Monitoring: This enhanced level of data review will only take place during the official 4-week beta trial period.
- Retention Period: Data and documents collected under this consent will be stored for up to 4 weeks beyond the completion of the beta trial or until you request its deletion, whichever is sooner.
By consenting, you confirm you are aware of and can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. It is as easy to withdraw consent as it is to give it.
- Data Subject Rights (DSRs): You have the right to request access to and rectification of your personal data, the right to erasure (the “Right to be Forgotten”), the right to restrict processing, and the right to data portability.
- Right to Complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory data protection authority.
